Why you need to backup.

Even with a secure computer setup, you never can tell when a disaster will occur. From lightning striking to receiving a malicious virus via e-mail, your patient data is always at risk.

Files you need to backup.

The entire Crystal PM data directory. Default installation is located on the server at (c:\Program Files\MySQL\Data)

Type of backup system should you use.

There are many different styles of backups from removable hard drives to online data transfers. For a comparison of the common types of backups, click on the file at the bottom of the page. Make sure you verify your data and store the backup media in a secure location.
