    While no vendor can make you HIPAA Compliant, Crystal software is designed to help offices comply with various HIPAA standards in regards to securing patient information. It is not possible for Crystal Practice Management software to make an optometric office completely “HIPAA-compliant.”

    The HIPAA Standards for Privacy require each optometry office to insure privacy and security, whether it be adjusting office procedures or using HIPAA-friendly software.

    To help offices achieve all HIPAA standards in regards to their computers, Crystal PM has designed a HIPAA Computer Compliance Checklist. The checklist is available on the DEMO CD and in the downloads section .
